Diogenes was born & raised in Boston, Massachusetts. He started listening to Hip Hop at a young age. His influences to start emceeing were NWA, Nas & the Wu-Tang Clan. Diogenes, aka Dio Gin, got his start when he joined local Hip Hop label Acuta Records in 2001. There he would perform with his group, Pangea Pham, throughout New England. Diogenes was featured heavily on the label's first two releases, The Acuta Bootlegs Volumes 1 & 2. After much fam fair, the group released their debut album, The Pangea Project, in mid 2005 to much acclaim. In 2009, after touring on the Lead The Way Music Festival, Diogenes would further pursue his solo career with performances outside of New England (New York City) and various solo releases. His performances would get him a nomination for 'Best Live Performance' at New York City's Underground Hip Hop Awards.

His first release coming in 2010 called "February 9". This was a mixtape featuring production from North Carolina's own 9th Wonder. Dio would follow this mixtape up with two more mixtapes, "Have Mic, Will Travel (2010) & "Escape From Home" (2013). The last one being a collaborative album with New York based producer, Reckonize Real. On Election Day 2016, Dio would release the video for his single off the "The Virus" album (DNA), the controversial 'American Me'.

In early 2017, Dio would join Pangea group member, Cube Ref & local producer DNA to form 'Put It On The List Entertainment'.


Boston Hip Hop artist Diogenes drops off visuals for his latest single "Gods & Queens".

"Gods & Queens" is the fourth video release from Diogenes, off his new album "The Lonely Hero".

The song was produced by Big Session and features Tentun on the hook. "God's & Queens" is now streaming on all digital platforms:

Bay Area producer/emcee duo Butch Swim &Tha Anthom recruit Boston heavyweights M-Dot & Revalation (of EMS) for their first single entitled "Big Bossman Tokyo." The track is inspired by the famous fighting game "Tekken" and other Japanese cultural references. The emcees (M-Dot, Tha Anthom, Revalation) pass the baton, trading hard bars over menacing production and cuts by Butch Swim.

About Tha Anthom: Tha Anthom is an emcee out of San Jose, California. A seasoned master of ceremonies, he has worked with artists and producers from around the globe. Anthom recently released a jazz-influenced album, Never Sellin' Out, with producer Mike B on Chopped Hearing Records on route to his solo debut in 2022.

Butch Swim is a DJ and producer out of the Bay Area. As an accomplished DJ, he has participated in the DMC Technic USA Scratch Finals and is currently a part of the Live Wire music group. Butch Swim will be also be releasing a solo instrumental album later this year entitled Soul For Hard Times.
