With a name like GodKing Preach you’d think this American rapper/songwriter would be delivering the gospel with his work, especially with a project called “Lord Have Mercy '' produced by Things With Todd.

With his latest EP Preach delivers stories of his life in a pugnacious tone seldom heard in today's hip hop climate.

This Houston to Beaumont, Texas connection brings us a glimpse into the mind of a young man anxious to assert himself by any means.

TWT’s production provides the perfect canvas for Preach to challenge everything from politics to organized religion while still leaving room for redemption with songs like “Praying Hands” and the title track “Lord Have Mercy”.

Check out the project and grab your copy below.

"Nobody’s gonna wait on you."

This is the mantra of hip-hop artist losLAUREN 718. It's what prompted him to rhyme for veteran rapper AZ in a nightclub in 2005. It’s part of the motivation that led him to being featured in The Source's Unsigned Hype column in 2006. It's why, not seeing the opportunities he desired, he opted for grad school at Florida A&M University, earning his MBA, and why he joined the Air Force. It's what's been the inspiration behind his company, and record label, Allergic to Failure, since its inception in 2012.

Splitting his time between The Bronx, and Florida, losLAUREN 718's music incorporates both traditional NYC lyricism, and Florida’s history of melody and bass. Listeners will also find a refreshing dose of honesty in his work. He points to a humorous, but authentic, line from his EP "Shades of Blue 2.5", as he raps, “Stingy with dough / fuck Coinstar / I roll my quarters,” noting, “that’s a real fact. I’m not trying to pay 10% for you to roll it up!”

Previously, losLAUREN 718 has worked with a litany of notable DJs and producers, including DJ Green Lantern, DJ Drama, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Ty Fyffe (Foxy Brown, Busta Rhymes), QB Da Problem (50 Cent, Scarface, Joe Budden, Raheem DeVaughn), Nefarious! (Amor Jones), and Chris Prythm (Lloyd Banks, Nipsey Hussle).

Prepping for his upcoming 2022 release “Addicted to Success,” losLAUREN 718 drops his latest single “Hold On (Grip).”

It’s a message to the fans, asking them to be patient, the wait is almost over.

The music video details everything that los has done from the start of 2021 to now. In a recent interview the Bronx native stated: “For those of you who wondered why I was off the scene for so long, here is the answer!”
