About:
Khalil Slaughter is not your average hip hop artist. Philly bred, he’s spanned his methodical work over more than a decade of creations. From fronting a reggae band, to writing comedic odes like “#ServerLife,” as well as composing the intro to the “The Philly Offensive” series, he’s proven again and again to be a musical force to be reckoned with. Khalil Slaughter draws inspiration from many artists of varying genres; ranging from Wu-Tang and Gil-Scott Heron to metal acts like Black Sabbath and Megadeth. Don’t get it twisted— Khalil Slaughter is as Hiphop as they come. Add to that a compliment of distorted riffage and heavy synth transitions and the results are undeniable.
